Shopify Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Shopify Expert to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify e-commerce stores to drive sales and deliver an exceptional user experience. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, including Liquid templating, app integrations, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and storefronts.

  • Customize Shopify templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

  • Implement and configure Shopify apps and third-party integrations.

  • Optimize store performance for speed, SEO, and conversion.

  • Create and manage product catalogs, collections, and payment/shipping configurations.

  • Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and functionality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to store functionality, plugins, and UX.

  • Stay current on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Shopify and Shopify Plus.

  • Strong knowledge of Liquid templating language.

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party services.

  • Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with headless Shopify implementations.

  • Familiarity with modern frameworks like React or Vue.js (for custom front-end work).

  • Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Shopify reporting tools.

  • Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and A/B testing.

  • E-commerce UX/UI design knowledge is a plus.
