About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and play a key role in building, maintaining, and enhancing websites for our clients and internal projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, has a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.

  • Build responsive, user-friendly websites optimized for speed and performance.

  • Customize and extend existing themes using child themes and custom code.

  • Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.

  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to meet project goals and deadlines.

  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and web development.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

  • Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.

  • Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).

  • Familiarity with Git version control.

  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and website performance best practices.

  • Experience with WooCommerce is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with headless WordPress or JAMstack approaches.

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and GraphQL.

  • Familiarity with deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Comfortable working with command-line tools and local development environments (e.g., Docker, Local WP).
